Vinyl Covers recording project features an amazing list of emerging artists donating their contemporary renditions of classic songs as well as established artists contributing their favorite tracks from the pre-digital era of recorded music and comedy.

L.A. radio legend and comedic actor/writer Brian Phelps (Mark & Brian Show-KLOS) will be the evening’s host and is joined by several sport, entertainment industry and City of Hope ‘miracle workers’ for an evening of music, comedy, visual arts and more, all united for the sole purpose of defeating all types of cancer.

Talent includes Dig the Kid, Shayna Adler, Chris Warner (ex-jet west), Hobie Givens, Tunnel Vision, The Raskins, Old James, Sheppards Kingdom, Alex Drizos, Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie/Jeff Beck group), Dwight Twilley (pop rocker/writer) , guitar legend Danny Johnson (Steppenwolf, Derringer), The Expendables (Silverback Mgt), Kaleo Wassman (Pepper) and others stepping up to the plate as their busy schedules allow.

DON’T MISS YOUR SHOT TO MEET THE ARTISTS & BENEFACTORS – Be one of the lucky few to get a chance to meet all the artists pre-show & backstage at the historic Alex Theatre (7:00PM).  Tickets for this rare opportunity are $125.00 and will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

The album is set to be released October 26, 2018 and is produced by Michael Dumas at Horse Latitudes Studios in Glendale, California. Robby Krieger, founding member/songwriter of the Doors, has generously donated his state of the art studio designed by Michael for the tracking of several ‘A’ and ‘B’ side artists. The project was envisioned and conceived by  Mesa Odonnell Media Services (MOMS), an entertainment touring media services and production company.

100% Proceeds from the sale of the Vinyl Covers the record benefit City of Hope.  Proceeds from Vinyl Covers Live benefit City of Hope, The Music Path & Glendale Arts.
