Box Office Hours:
In Person –The Alex Theatre Box Office is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12:00 noon until 5:00 PM and on performance days until one-half hour after the scheduled start time of the event.
Tickets can also be purchased 7 days per week from 11:00 am to 7:00 PM at The Americana at Brand Ticket Outlet located at Concierge Services in the Grand Lobby (889 Americana Way). There is a service charge for in person purchases.
By Phone - Phone orders may be placed by calling 818-243-ALEX (2539) Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 noon until 5:00 PM. There is a service charge for phone orders.
Online - Tickets may also be purchased online 27/4 by clicking on the link below. There is a small service charge for online orders.

Payment Options
The Alex Theatre box office accepts cash, checks (until 10 days prior to a performance), and American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit and debit cards. Please have your credit card ready when ordering tickets by telephone.
Ticket Service Fees
Our mission is to preserve and maintain the historic Alex Theatre and to provide the highest possible level of service to our patrons. To help defer the costs of providing these services, fees will be added on all tickets. These fees cover all the costs related to capital and restoration projects at the Theatre as well as fulfilling your ticket order.
A $2.50 per ticket fee will be added to all tickets sold at the Alex Theatre Box Office window, ticketing outlets, phone and online.
Service fees are added on all tickets purchased over the phone or online.
$0 – $15.00 = $1.50 per ticket fee
$15.01 + = $3.75 per ticket fee
Group Sales
Discount group reservations for 15 or more people are available for many Alex Theatre performances. To start planning, contact the box office by email at

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be purchased in a variety of denominations and are redeemable for most events held at the Alex Theatre. Call 818-243-ALEX (2539) for more information.
Refunds / Exchanges
In accordance with our agreements with our rental users and clients, Glendale Arts dba Alex Theatre is generally prohibited from issuing exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased, lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed. Glendale Arts dba Alex Theatre reserves the right to grant a refund for a cancelled or postponed event, and any credit will be the full price of the returned ticket(s) minus any convenience and/or handling fees that were applied to your purchase. Please safeguard your tickets; lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced. There are no refunds or exchanges for unused tickets. Tickets are good only for the specific performance designated and are not for resale.
