The Armenian Genocide is the subject of this dynamic new musical. Two survivors, Kourken and Malvine, 5 years and 600 miles apart, sing us through their experiences as children during the genocide. With a cast of twenty-two, we watch as Kourken and Malvine each navigate the lives they have been given. Losing their families, leaving everything behind, and being forced to march through the desert, they witness unthinkable atrocities, yet emerge alive and with love in their hearts – for humanity and each other. Experience the triumph of survival and the will to live and love again. I Am Alive celebrates the resilience of the Armenian people.
