Popular holiday classic THE NUTCRACKER will be reprised by The Red Chair’s Children’s Production Company, located in Burbank. This marks The Red Chair’s 12th annual offering of the timeless Tchaikovsky ballet to Southern California residents.

Unique among area Nutcracker productions, The Red Chair’s energetic rendition features young performers, ages 5 to 18, in principal and supporting roles along with adults. Amidst lavish sets and glittering costumes, a cast of over 100 will bring to life the enchanting storybook tale of a young girl’s magical Christmas Eve that take her, and the audience, on a delightful and exciting journey.

Founded in 2005, The Red Chair Children’s Production Company is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Burbank. Its mission is to inspire, motivate, mentor and share the physical arts with students of all ages through extraordinary dance and performing arts experiences. The program is designed to support students as they develop into confident young artistic performers who grow into creative, artistic adults.
