THE DOORS’ iconic guitarist launches THE MUSIC PATH
Celebrity friends join Robby Krieger for the first in a series of concerts to raise funds for his non-profit The Music Path (TMP), created to promote engaging contemporary music education in our public High Schools.
Robby Krieger will be joined by John Doe of X, Stone Temple Pilots bassist Robert DeLeo, keyboardist Rami Jaffee (The Wallflowers / Foo Fighters), Travis Warren (Blind Melon), Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction), Ed Roth (Annie Lennox), Waylon Krieger (The Robby Krieger Band), Dig the Kid, and Andy Crosby (The Southland). Also performing will be City of Glendale, CA’s own The Bots voted most likely to succeed by Rolling Stone Magazine in 2014.

ABOUT THE MUSIC PATH
The Music Path’s mission is to empower and inspire young artists and to promote the collaborative, creative and performance-focused spirit of Rock. In partnership with Musical Futures (MF), The Music Path will provide student-driven music enrichment for our schools – building self-esteem and teaching valuable life skills. MF’s evidence-based programming is proven, having already successfully impacted over 1.5 million students worldwide. TMP will also be sponsoring ‘The PLAY-off series,’ an inter-school competition for student bands performing contemporary music.

Glendale Arts (GA), a private nonprofit organization charged with managing the Alex Theatre and coordinating resources that are designed to benefit Glendale-based artists, arts organizations, businesses, government agencies, and local schools, serves as TMP’s Fiscal Agent and will serve as the event producer.
