Moving and mesmerizing: chanteuse Storm Large of Pink Martini-fame performs Weill’s Seven Deadly Sins and violinist Daniel Hope brings ‘conviction, musicality and understanding’ (Chicago Classical Review ) to an arrangement of popular Weill works. The centerpiece of the concert is Adolphe’s tribute to another émigré who spoke out in the face of injustice, the courageous Rabbi Joachim Prinz.
