Toronto-born guest conductor Peter Oundjian, noted for his probing musicality and collaborative spirit, leads classics by Bartók, Beethoven and Mendelssohn. A dynamic presence on the podium, Oundjian is music director of both the Toronto Symphony and Royal Scottish National Orchestras.  Please Note: Gifted violinist Simone Porter makes her LACO debut in Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto on December 12/13. She steps in for Stefan Jackiw who is suffering from influenza and regretfully had to withdraw.  Porter performs the arresting E- minor Violin Concerto by Mendelssohn.

7:00 PM – Pre-Concert Preludes – Ticket includes admission. Some Preludes feature LIVE performances of short chamber works. All provide interesting insights into the music and artists.

Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the theatre for this event.
