THE BAND WAGON represents the high water mark of musical comedy during Hollywood’s Golden Age. From the exquisite Dancing in the Dark routine by Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse to the iconic finale That’s Entertainment, Director Vincent Minnelli leads a brilliant cast that includes Nanette Fabray, Oscar Levant and legendary English music hall performer Jack Buchanan. Produced by the famed Arthur Freed unit at MGM and storyline courtesy of Oscar-nominated writing team of Betty Comden and Adolph Green.
