The joyous exuberance of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven envelop the hauntingly plaintive Violin Concerto No. 2 of Armenia’s foremost living composer. Now LA-based, virtuoso Movses Pogossian performs his countryman’s concerto with ‘utter technical assurance and plenty of feeling’ (MusicWeb International). Joélle Harvey brings ‘silvery top notes’ (The Times) while LACO principal trumpet David Washburn delights with ‘luminous sound’ (Classical Sonoma).

7:00 PM – Pre-Concert Preludes – Ticket includes admission. Some Preludes feature LIVE performances of short chamber works. All provide interesting insights into the music and artists.
