3RD ANNUAL GREATEST CARTOONS EVER! BIG SCREEN EVENT!™

The day after Christmas has always been a big day for releasing movies, as many families are looking for something to do after all the presents have been opened and all the parties are over. This year, with Christmas midweek, The Alex Film Society decided to keep the spirit of the thought but to move the event to the following Saturday, 29 December, at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. This family oriented special event provides a really great alternative to the other pre-packaged Hollywood extravaganzas.

The GREATEST CARTOONS EVER! has showcased some of the very best theatrical cartoons from the movies' Golden Ages, featuring iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Popeye, Betty Boop, Donald, even the original Superman - all projected in 35mm on the big screen at the Alex Theatre.

Animation historian and author Jerry Beck and producer Frank Gladstone have programmed a hugely entertaining cinematic trip back to a time when animated cartoons were more than an opening act; they were often the most popular part of going to the movies.

General Admission seating

Running time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes with no intermission, and the event is suitable for ages 6 and older. Photo/Video recording by patrons is not allowed.

CHILDREN (12 and under) - Purchase discounted tickets via Box Office Window, The Americana At Brand Concierge Desk, Glendale Community College Box Office, Phone, or Internet. Children age 2 and under who sit on a lap do not need a ticket; all persons 3 and older must have a ticket to enter the theatre.

AFS MEMBERS - Alex Film Society members may purchase discounted tickets in person at the Box Office Window, The Americana At Brand Concierge Desk, and Glendale Community College Box Office only; must show valid current AFS membership card at time of purchase.

ADA ACCESSIBLE SEATING INFORMATION
Please note that all seating areas in the Alex Theatre other than the ADA Accessible seating area [Orchestra Row X] require a minimum of 8 stairs to access. If you require ADA accessible seating, please let the Ticket Agent know at the beginning of the transaction or, if purchasing online, select from the ADA Accessible section and indicate the type of seating you require for each ADA Accessible seat. All ADA Accessible seating is Reserved Seating with specific Row and Seat Number designations on the tickets.

METHODS OF PAYMENT and TICKET FEES
The Americana At Brand Concierge Desk and the Glendale Community College Box Office accept Credit Card payment only. The Alex Theatre Box Office Window accepts Cash and Credit Card for ticket purchases. A Facility Fee is included in the face value price of the ticket; an additional Convenience Fee is assessed on every ticket purchased online or via phone.
