The Glendale Renaissance Orchestra brings their third pops concert of the Season to the Alex Theatre with Broadway Meets Hollywood with special guest stars Lorna Luft, Tobi Foster, Blake Ginther and Harmonica Virtuoso Bernie Fields.
Lorna Luft will perform popular songs from Broadway musicals and Hollywood films like: “Mame,“A Star Is Born” and “Babes In Arms,” as well as some song selections from her award-winning hit show, “Songs My Mother Taught Me – A Celebration of the Music of Judy Garland.” Tobi Foster and Blake Ginther will sing hit songs from movies and musicals like: “The Bird Cage,” “West Side Story,”
“The Music Man,” “Oliver!,” “The Lion King,” “Jersey Boys” and “Mamma Mia!”
Bernie Fields will be featured in a medley of Henry Mancini songs, including “Moon River” from Breakfast at Tiffany's, the titular song from the film 'Dear Heart' and 'Le Jazz Hot' from 'Victor, Victoria'.
